About Zandoyo
Zandoyo Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Bacocho, one of Puerto Escondido’s most attractive residential areas. Comparatively quiet (in Mexican terms!) Zandoyo is the home of Mexican citizen Mane Rosales and Canadian expat Tony Richards.
Together with Mane’s son César Hernández, they operate a traditional Bed & Breakfast and offer guests a more personalized service than found in most hotels. Zandoyo has four guest rooms, all with ensuites and air conditioning, and serves a full breakfast Monday through Friday. A former newspaper publisher, Tony has a passion for cooking and enjoys taking traditional Mexican dishes and putting his own touch to them.
Zandoyo’s location has been cited by many visitors as one of its top features. Three beaches — Carrizalillo, Coral and Bacocho — are nearby, as is the Rinconada, a commercial area where you can find some of Puerto Escondido’s best restaurants. Several cafes, a yoga center and a gym are also within a few blocks of Zandoyo and the town center is just a 15-minute walk away.
